Thirty Years of Pattern Leadership:
Milliken's first broadloom Millitron® was invented and patented in 1974 and was the first dye injection patterning technology introduced to the hospitality industry.  Milliken continues to advance the technology in-house and it is now on the 12th generation.  Millitron® has the largest design vocabulary for pattern development. 

Designers can approach carpet design the way an artist paints a canvas.  Images are not restricted by color, detail, clarity or effect.  This is because Milliken injects rather than tufts the design into carpet.  Designers can compose on the floor, creating a unique expression for each project.  Imagination is the only limitation. 

Millitron® High Definition Pattern Technology:
Milliken recently introduced Ever Technology™, a new high-definition patterning technology for modular carpet.  This state-of-the-art equipment creates highly dimensional and lifelike designs that can include hundreds of colors and can be created in any size.  Ever Technology™ transcends the traditional barriers of color, complexity and scale.  Each design can use hundreds of colors, applied at a scale of 400 color dots per square inch, to achieve exact depiction of the designer's concept.

Milliken's design staff is one of the largest in the hospitality carpet industry. Our design studio brings together a diversity of talent with fresh ideas and experienced know-how.  Milliken designers draw on diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences to create patterns that are truly universal.
