headquarters, the Roger Milliken Campus, sits on a beautiful 600-acre green
space. The Arboretum is
nationally recognized as one of the most significant corporate programs for
increasing knowledge about trees and their potential for improving the
environment and aesthetics of our communities.
Here are a few interesting
facts about the Arboretum that you may not know:
- It was Mr. Milliken who
inspired the designers to create the vistas of open fields, groves and trees,
fifteen decorative fountains and six ponds.
- Over 500 different trees
and shrubs, many rare to South Carolina, enhance the site grounds.
