Clerkenwell Design Week 2012: Our favorite moments

Clerkenwell Design Week 2012, held in London May 22-24, generated many great conversations in the British design community.  During this special week, design studios open their doors to host numerous workshops and discussions about pertinent industry topics and trends.  It’s always a fun challenge to see who can provide the most innovative and interesting events.

We’re thrilled to say that we attracted a lot of buzz by hosting multiple events in our London showroom.
To highlight a major trend in the U.K., we invited letterpress expert Alan Kitching to host a workshop in our studio.  We even played a glorified game of Scrabble with our beautifully made jumbo-sized letters.

In addition, Max Fraser, editor of the London Design Guide, hosted a panel on Design Crimes, which featured some of the most dreadful works in the design world.
Also, Wayne Hemingway led a thought-provoking discussion on vintage design.
To top the event off, we charged a group of Style Spotters to roam the show and capture images of the best and most unique styles.
